Family Vacations

Rent a chalet for the whole family, for the perfect vacation. Close your eyes and imagine: an Adirondack chair on a dock, your own private lake, relaxing to the soothing sounds of water lapping at the shoreline. Let your mind go. Feel the warm caress of the breeze. Now open your eyes – it’s not a dream! This special place is waiting just for you – a five-star chalet on your own private lake. This is Kenauk Nature.

Our 1 to 7 bedroom chalets are cozy enough for a family reunion of up to 19 people. Most feature a fireplace and all are “off the grid” and powered by solar panels with propane for cooking, heating and lighting. Screened porches, decks, private docks with canoes, kayaks and rowboats are included. The kitchen is well equipped and all linens are provided.  A true time-out to relax and focus on those who you cherish the most.

At Kenauk Nature there are hiking trails, nature guides, climbing walls, a Magic School Bus, canoe and kayak outings, great fishing, wildlife observations and a sporting clay course. When the snow falls in the winter time, the chalets are open for secluded retreats beside a warm fire and winter adventures like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding or just playing in the snow.
