Located 4 miles (8 km) from the entrance gate, Muskrat Chalet has two bedrooms and a loft as well as a cozy wood stove. Available all year, this chalet has easy access to hiking and snowshoe trails and is a short ski from Section 4 of the Canadian Ski Marathon trail. This chalet is equipped with solar panels that power all household systems. Note that this chalet is devoid of power outlets and cell service to encourage guests to reconnect with nature.
