What types of chalets are available to rent at Kenauk Nature?

Kenauk Nature has 22 eco-responsible and luxurious chalets, ideal for families, friends, and colleagues who want to be in the heart of Canadian nature. Options range from intimate one-bedroom riverside chalets to large four- and seven-bedroom lakefront lodges accommodating up to 19 guests. There are also glamping tents and a yurt available.

Do the chalets have private lakes?

Yes. Most of the chales sit on their own private lake giving guests exclusive access to their waterfront, dock, canoes, kayaks, and rowboats. Use the Private lake filter when searching for your chalet to see which ones have their own lake!

Are the chalets at Kenauk off-grid?

Most cabins in the Heritage and Classic series do not have electrical outlets. The Deluxe chalets are equipped with electrical outlets, however, the systems only support small electrical devices – ideal for recharging mobile phones, tablets, and computers, or to support a CPAP machine.

Can I use a CPAP machine in the chalets?

Yes, it is possible to use a CPAP machine in our cabins.

The Deluxe cabins are equipped with electrical outlets, so you can plug it in directly.
For the Classic and Heritage series cabins, we can provide a battery and adapter upon request. Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

What time is check-in and check-out at Kenauk chalets?

Check-in time for cabin stays is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Ask Kenauk staff about options for early arrival or late departure.

Can I bring a pet to my chalet at Kenauk?

Pet policies vary by chalet. Some chalets explicitly do not allow pets. We recommend contacting our reservation team at the time of booking to confirm pet-friendly availability.

Can I have visitors come to my chalet during my stay?

It is possible to receive visitors at your chalet for the day only, but you must announce your visitors to the reception staff in advance. Fees will apply.
