Canadian Ski Marathon 2024 – Registration now open!
Ready for the 58th edition
The 2024 Canadian Ski Marathon has launched its 58th Edition and is bringing exciting changes, making it an event accessible to all levels of skiers! This year’s event will take place in the greater Montebello region. In collaboration with Kenauk Nature, the Canadian Ski Marathon team will be able to offer two days of wonderful skiing totalling 160 km, as tradition dictates.
The CSM is an event for everyone
We recognize that some Tourers come to ski for only a few sections each day, and when registering you will note that there are significantly reduced fees depending on what distance you challenge yourself to ski. This is done intentionally in an effort to have more families, groups of friends, and teams come to join us! Our goal is to get 1,300 skiers this year, and that will only be possible with your support, and the support of new skiers who come and fall in love with our wonderful, unique event.
Amazing support
After intense flooding and weather events this spring, many of the trails that we use, as well as our skier community funded bridge were severely damaged. The team at Kenauk Nature has carried out all repairs necessary to ensure that we have safe, clear trails to ski on this winter! We would also like to thank past board member (treasurer), 1972 Olympic skier, and participant of the inaugural 1967 Canadian Ski Marathon (as a young boy), Malcolm Hunter, for stepping into a leadership role to help execute and put forth this year’s event.
