Kenauk Nature is well known as one of Quebec’s premier fishing destinations since its lakes and rivers support an incredibly wide variety of fish including – rainbow, speckled and lake trout; largemouth and smallmouth bass; as well as northern pike. This variety ensures excellent fishing all season long with Kenauk’s unmatched privacy and scenery. Our fishery biologists ensure each lake receives a balanced supply of prized rainbow and speckled trout for your enjoyment. Your reservation means that the lake belongs to you for the day. Limited multiple-party fishing is only permitted on 3 of our large lakes.

Season: Ice out (end of April) to mid November
Stocking: Kenauk has both natural lakes with indigenous fish as well as stocked lakes (from our own hatchery) with prized rainbow and speckled trout.
Outfitting: Complete outfitting is available on site including boats, rods and tackle for individuals or groups.
Management: Only Kenauk’s electric motors are allowed on our lakes. Electric motors from outside Kenauk are not permitted to avoid the risk of invasive species contamination on our pristine lakes. Each of our lakes has a fleet of dedicated boats and motors for your enjoyment.We have catch and release only lakes to maintain large and healthy populations as well as stocked lakes where fishing quotas apply. We also have lakes and rivers that are solely dedicated to fly-fishing.
Packages: We have many packages that vary depending on group size, chalet, season, and weekday versus weekend. All of our packages include accommodations in a private chalet, fishing rights to a private or semi-private lake and boats. Daily fishing is also available with a reservation.
